A video showing a hockey referee running for his life before getting into a physical altercation with a player is going viral.
Unfortunately, many of the details surrounding the video are unknown.
The video begins with two enraged hockey players chasing down the referee. Many speculate it was like me over a call they disagreed with, so they decided to attack him instead.
The ref didn't make it far before being pulled down to the ice. However, once he was able to get back up, he started landing several punches before other players came over to break things up.
