Tourists at a Florida state park got a firsthand look at how powerful and scary nature can be when they witness a wild horse aggressively stomp an alligator.
Krystal M. Berry was filming at the Paynes Prairie State Park, located just south of Gainesville, when the animal confrontation occurred.
The horse was grazing nearby when it spotted the sunbathing alligator. All of a sudden, the horse charged at the gator and pounced on it multiple times. The gator flipped in an attempt to bite the horse.
"I'm still shaking," Berry said when recalling the encounter.
Neither animal appeared to suffer serious injuries.
