On Sunday, an award-winning photographer/videographer captured a video of a Whale Shark swimming south of Stuart Beach.
Rich West posted the video on Instagram and said "This morning was quite incredible, biggest fish in the sea decided it was time to cruise past the shore."
The shark was about 25-30 feet long and according to West, "Whale Sharks live between 80-130 years, so this guy/girl will potentially outlive all of us."
Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Very cool!
