"Help for Harvey" starts right here at Home (Plate!)

The Houston Astros organization is collecting supplies for families affected by Harvey in Texas.

The Astros do their spring training at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, and the General Manager of the faciilty, Brady Ballard, along with the team have launched a donation drive.

Astros team owner Jim Crane is donating trucks from his company, Crane Worldwide, to take supplies to Houston next week.

They're looking for basic items that families stuck at shelters may be without, including diapers, blankets, baby food, toiletries and pet food.

You can bring your donations to the stadium off Haverhill Road and 45th Street through next Wednesday.

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches will accept donations from 9am-6pm on weekdays and 9am-1pm on Saturday.
