“Rocking the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast” since 1991, I am the Gater's Music Director and Afternoon Drive DJ. I was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and raised in Sarasota, Florida. I graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa and did my first radio shows there on the college radio station, KDIC-FM. I paid my radio dues in Sarasota/St. Petersburg at WQSR-FM, in Gainesville at WGVL-FM, and in Orlando at WORJ-FM “Zeta7,” WDIZ-FM and WLOQ-FM. From 1981 to 1991, I lived in Hawaii and worked at KPOI-FM ”98 Rock-The Rock You Live On" and KHFX-FM "Hawaii's Classic Rock." I did my first show here on The Gater April 13, 1991, broadcasting from an old funeral home just off Orange Avenue in Ft. Pierce. I have relocated from my longtime home on Singer Island to North Palm Beach, and I love it so much, I’ll never move again! You'll hear The Allman Brothers and The Grateful Dead along with Pat Metheny, Derek Trucks, Little Feat, Santana and Pink Floyd always spinning at my place. Thanks for stopping by and thank you for listening all these years. Gater Rocks!
