MLB Celebrates Pride

Major League Baseball is celebrating LGBTQ Pride all season long with a variety of events at games across the country! From the Seattle Mariners to the Miami Marlins, almost every single team in the MLB is participating, (with the exception of the Astros and Rangers.) WorldPride is taking place in New York this year, and the New York Yankees are set to hold a pre-game ceremony on June 25th to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Take a look below at some of the ways these teams and ballparks are honoring our friends in the LGBTQ community!

The Boston Red Sox hosted Pride night on June 11 during a game against the Texas Rangers.

The Los Angeles Dodgers' Pride night was on May 31 during a game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Pride night in Oakland took place on June 1 during a game against the Houston Astros.

On June 5, the Milwaukee Brewers hosted their Pride night during a game against the Miami Marlins.

The Washington Nationals hosted Pride night on June 4 during a game against the Chicago White Sox.

The Tampa Bay Rays celebrated Pride night on June 14. They beat the Angels 9-4.
