SunFest 2017 Survival Guide

Every year, people from all over the world flock to the waterfront in Downtown West Palm Beach for a 5 day extravaganza of music, art, and incredible eats. Between the massive crowds of art and concert lovers, the unpredictable weather we have here in South Florida, and the amount of money (we know) you're going to spend, we want you to be as prepared as possible for the biggest party in West Palm Beach! Here's some do's and don't's to help make the most of your SunFest experience!

Do... wear comfortable shoes: The festival is set up with three stages that start at one end of Flagler, and end at the other. Plus, with all of the food, exhibitors, and incredible artists scattered throughout the street, you're DEFINITELY going to need a good pair of walking shoes! There's nothing worse than breaking a sandal or ending up with blisters on day one, when you four more to go.

Do... bring an poncho/extra change of clothes: It's inevitable, there is a very high possibility that mother nature could be against us. Please, please, PLEASE, be prepared, and get yourself a poncho! And if in the event that you didn't bring one, a change of clothes is always a great option.

Do... plan ahead: If you plan on going with a huge group of people, establishing a meeting point is always the best way to go. Also, for all of you iPhone users, downloading the official SunFest app will make scheduling that much easier. Another great idea is to bring a portable charger, OR utilize one of the cell phone charging stations.

Don't... be afraid to push your way through crowds (nicely): Thousands upon thousands of people will be down at the waterfront throughout all five days, sometimes you're going to have to (nicely) make your way through a pack of people.

Don't... forget to drink LOTS of water: Especially during the weekend, staying hydrated is the most important part of the entire weekend. It will be EXTREMELY hot. Water will be your best friend. Sunscreen is also a great idea!

Don't... let anything negative ruin your fun! This event only happens once a year, and each year is bigger and better than the last. So, make sure you're taking in every moment, and enjoy yourself!
