As you may know, April is "Autism Awareness Month." dedicated to bring light to the worsening epidemic of babies born into the spectrum of autism. This strikes at home for me as I have a 21 year old stepson with severe autism.
To show your awareness, people are encouraged to light up the night with blue...that's why you will see blue tinted spotlights above garage doors, or lights downtown West Palm blue-colored. Feel free to add your idea to the fray.
Artists like Stephen Stills are hosting events to raise funds for the "Autism Speaks Foundation." Stills originally scheduled a concert for next Sunday April 13th. That sold out quickly so he added a 2nd concert for this Saturday April 5th.
Here's the great news: Stills "Autism Speaks" concert from LAST year, is now available to download on iTunes. Enjoy a great concert knowing that the funds are going to a great cause.
