“I stumbled on ‘Detroit Made’ on [SiriusXM] Outlaw Country,” Seger told Billboard magazine. “I downloaded it, and that’s a great opener for us. My initial plan was to have Kid Rock do it with me, but he was just so busy with the start of his tour that we weren’t able to do it. I thought it would be great.” Bob Seger

Bob's been playing this one live for a while, and now it's a new single. The song was written by John Hiatt. It is about the Buick Electra 225 and reminiscent of Seger's own "Makin' Thunderbirds.". It’s been the opening song at Seger’s concert dates recently.
