Getting you ready for DEF LEPPARD and KISS Tuesday Night 7/22 at Cruzan Amphitheatre! The Joe Elliott Interview:

I spoke with Def Leppard's voice, Joe Elliot, about a wide range of things: a very interesting take on the dynamic between the two headlining bands and why each group has something to prove. Joe also reports on the progress of a new Def Leppard album coming next year, plus a "Viva Pyromania" return to Las Vegas for another residency at the end of 2015. We also flashed back to a 1983 soccer match in Honolulu between Def Leppard and my radio station at the time KPOI 98 Rock. Some pictures of that below. Joe also remind us there's a great opening act, Kobra and The Lotus playing a 30 minute set and he likes them a lot.

I hope you enjoy the show (and the interview) and as Joe will tell you $1.00 from every ticket sold on this tour will go to help military members who need help. Right on Def Leppard and KISS!

Back in 1983 Def Leppard took over Hawaii with back to back sold out concerts at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. They were on holiday after the shows to enjoy a bit of the Aloha Spirit, so we put up a special soccer match on a field at Pearl Harbor. Joe is right, he scored more than once and Def Leppard beat KPOI-FM 6-3. Good times!
